<p class="ql-align-justify"><span style="background-color: rgb(255, 255, 255); color: rgb(25, 135, 84);">Professor (Dr.) Projesh Kumar Roy Completed MBBS from Mymensingh Medical College in 1974. He obtained his FCPS (Internal Medicine) from Bangladesh College of Physicians &amp; Surgeons (BCPS) in 1983, and his MD (Gastroenterology) from Dhaka University in 1996. He received advanced training in Gastroenterology at Showa University Fujigaoka Hospital, Japan in 2000.</span></p><p class="ql-align-justify"><span style="background-color: rgb(255, 255, 255); color: rgb(25, 135, 84);">He joined government service in 1976. He has been working in various medical Colleges, Hospitals and Universities for 42 years. He joined IPGM&amp;R as Assistant Professor in the Department of Medicine in 1988 and in the Department of Gastroenterology in 1989. After establish Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujib Medical University In 1998 he joined in Gastroenterology Department as Assistant Professor. He was promoted to Associate Professor in 2001 and Professor in 2006 in the Department of Gastroenterology at Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujib Medical University. He retired as Chairman of Gastroenterology from BSMMU in 2018.</span></p><p class="ql-align-justify"><span style="background-color: rgb(255, 255, 255); color: rgb(25, 135, 84);">He First established Endoscopy unit at Dhaka Medical College. He is life member of Bangladesh Gastroenterology Society, Bangladesh College of Physicians &amp; Surgeons, Bangladesh Medical Association and Indian Society of Gastroenterology. He is member of American Gastroenterology Association and American College of Gastroenterology.</span></p><p class="ql-align-justify"><span style="background-color: rgb(255, 255, 255); color: rgb(25, 135, 84);">He has around 100 publications in national and International journals.</span></p><p><br></p>
