<p><span style="background-color: rgb(255, 255, 255); color: rgb(107, 114, 128);">Prof. Dr. Nayeem Al Imam is a highly experienced, compassionate, and dedicated surgeon with an extensive background in general surgery. He completed his MBBS from Mymensingh Medical College in 1999 and earned his FCPS in Surgery from the Bangladesh College of Physicians and Surgeons in 2007. He began his medical career with an internship in the Department of Surgery at Mymensingh Medical College &amp; Hospital and later served in progressive roles at Dhaka Medical College Hospital, including Honorary Medical Officer, Assistant Registrar, Resident Surgeon, Registrar, and Professor and Head of the Department at Uttara Adhunik Medical College. He also held key positions at General Hospital, Faridpur, and Upazila Health Complex, Dohar, Dhaka. Currently, he serves as the Chief Consultant of the General Surgery Department at SHIP International Hospital, Dhaka. He is proficient in advanced laparoscopic surgery, managing challenging gallbladder and appendix cases, abdominal cancers of the gastrointestinal tract, breast cancer surgery, and trauma surgery. He has authored multiple publications on carcinoma of the head of the pancreas and rare cases like Phyllodes Tumour, maintaining a patient-focused approach to both elective and emergency surgical care.</span></p>
